From visits to continuous care: why we built LungiMed
When we think about chronic respiratory care, we often think first of consultations, imaging and medication. Yet much of the care journey happens after the patient has left the clinic, when they must follow treatment, recognize symptom changes and stay connected to the care team.
LungiMed focuses on this gap between visits. A great deal of patient information is created during that time, but much of it never reaches the care team in a structured form.
We designed LungiMed as an intelligent specialist layer alongside existing clinical workflows. Its first version begins with structured patient communication, questionnaire-based follow-up and adherence monitoring, without adding unnecessary complexity to care delivery.
As structured data grows, LungiMed can evolve into clinical decision support. AI is not intended to replace the physician; it identifies patterns and turns information into useful signals while final clinical decisions remain with the care team.
Our vision is a continuous respiratory-care journey that begins in the clinic and extends to the next visit and beyond. For us, digital health succeeds when technology works quietly in the background and care becomes more continuous, intelligent and human.
