From hearing stories to practicing skills: why we built Kidemy
When we prepare children for the future, we often think of language, mathematics, science and technical skills. These matter, but children also need to understand emotions, cope with setbacks, understand others and make responsible choices.
Kidemy was designed with this in mind: a social-emotional learning platform for children ages four to twelve, using stories and AI to create experiences where empathy, cooperation and decision-making can be practiced.
Children are not passive listeners. They choose characters and settings, change the direction of the story and see the consequences of their decisions. Learning happens inside the story rather than through long lectures or test-like questions.
Parents, educators and specialists are part of the experience too. Learning should continue beyond the screen through family conversations and short everyday activities. Age-appropriate content, parental consent and child-data protection remain core design principles.
Kidemy’s vision is to help build a society where children are better prepared to understand emotions, build relationships, resolve conflict and ask for help.
Every story is an experience. Every experience is one step toward growth.
